As Tech Istanbul, the entrepreneurship brand of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, our technology transfer and spin-off project in the field of deep tech was entitled to receive funding within the scope of @EIT Higher Education Initiative's 2024 Call with De-TECH: Deep Tech European Venture Builder!
On this exciting journey, we are working together with Istanbul Technical University (ITU), Estonian Business School (EBS), Leibniz University Hannover (LUH), Technoport, Effectia and Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM)! With this project, we aim to support the transformation of advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence, quantum computing, biotechnology and health from the university level into commercializable spin-offs and market solutions. Our goal is to triple the entrepreneurship participation rate among students, researchers and academic/administrative staff at the four participating universities by 2030.
We hope to reach:

🔹 +100 mentor-student connections
