Are Tech Istanbul activities free of charge?
You can participate in all Tech Istanbul activities free of charge.
How can I participate in Tech Istanbul trainings and events?
You can review Tech Istanbul trainings and events from the Events section of our website and register for the activity you want to attend. We would like to remind you that the conditions of participation may vary according to the content of our activities.

How can I apply to Tech Istanbul entrepreneurship programs?
To apply to Tech Istanbul as an entrepreneur, you can click here to choose the program that suits your needs and make your application.
What stage must my initiative be at before I can apply?
You can apply to Tech Istanbul Pre-Incubation with your early-stage startup and Tech Istanbul Growth with your advanced-stage startup with a ready product.
Are there any sector restrictions for application?
There are no sector restrictions to apply to Tech Istanbul Pre-Incubation. Startups with technology-based products in Mobility, Environment & Energy, Mobile Technologies and new verticals to be added this year can apply to Tech Istanbul Growth.
Are there any age or school restrictions for Tech Istanbul entrepreneurship programs?
To apply for Tech Istanbul, you must be at least a high school graduate and over 18 years of age.
Can I participate in entrepreneurship programmes while I am already working full-time?
You can participate in our programmes while working a full-time job. However, in our evaluation process, it is one of our important criteria that you can spare enough time for your initiative.
Is it expected that my enterprise will be incorporated when applying?
You can apply to Tech Istanbul Pre-Incubation with your incorporated or unincorporated startup. During or after the Tech Istanbul Pre-Incubation process, unincorporated startups are aimed to be incorporated. In order to apply to Tech Istanbul Growth, your startup must be incorporated and at an invoiceable stage.
Is the fact that I have participated in another competition/centre/support mechanism in the past or simultaneously with my initiative an obstacle to my application?
It is not an obstacle for you to apply if you have benefited from another entrepreneurship support in the past or simultaneously with your initiative. However, we expect you to indicate this information in the relevant field of the application form.
Can I apply for entrepreneurship programmes on my own?
You can apply to our entrepreneurship programmes on your own. However, having a team is one of our important criteria in our evaluation process.
Can I apply with more than one startup idea?
You can apply to our Tech Istanbul entrepreneurship programs with more than one startup idea. However, you can only participate in the program with one startup idea at a time.
Can I apply to Tech Istanbul again the following year with my startup that was not accepted?
If you are not accepted to Tech Istanbul, you can apply again the following year.
Can I participate in Tech Istanbul entrepreneurship programs remotely, from outside Istanbul or from my own office?
You can participate in Tech Istanbul Pre-Incubation and Growth programs remotely or from your own office. However, for the parts of the programs that require physical participation, we expect you to be present at our locations in Istanbul.
How long can I benefit from the opportunities Tech Istanbul provides to entrepreneurs?
You can benefit from the opportunities provided by Tech Istanbul Pre-Incubation and Growth programs for 1 year. However, we would like to remind you that this is not valid for all opportunities.
Do you demand shares or fees in return for Tech Istanbul entrepreneur support?
No, all support provided by Tech Istanbul is completely free of charge and we do not demand any share gain after the programs.
